The exterior of the 51,000-sf manufacturing facility was constructed with a combination of Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) and insulated metal panels. Seventy percent of the facility’s footprint was dedicated to concrete pits, ranging in depth from 2 feet to 8 feet. These pits were designed to house highly specialized equipment, making precise dimensional accuracy a key focus throughout the project. A standout feature was a pit that extended from the interior of the building to the exterior, requiring meticulous coordination and alignment between both sides.
Eldridge was responsible for the foundations, concrete pits, slab-on-grade, and slab-on-deck elements of the facility, delivering a turnkey solution that met both the structural and operational needs of the project.
